Or give a year to someone else.
When someone you love is facing a terminal illness, caring for someone who is, or grieving a loss, you can give them a year of 18December. You pay once. They use it whenever they are ready.

Everything in one secure place.
The guides and checklists are free, and so is saving your progress, because everyone navigating a terminal illness or bereavement deserves clear, practical information and a place to keep track. No paywalls on the hard stuff.
When you are managing care across weeks or months, filing documents at midnight and tracking medications through the night, having your documents, medication diary and family records saved together in one place lifts a real weight.
Your documents. Your medication diary. Your records, on any device, whenever you need them.

What do I get on the free plan?
All five guided stages, the specialist finder, and the full checklist are free to use, with no account needed. Create a free account and your checklist progress saves automatically and follows you across devices. A subscription adds the document vault, medication diary, and the other tools below.
What do the paid plans add?
Both paid plans add the secure document vault, the medication diary, the pending tests tracker, the notification tracker (who to tell after a death, and where each one is up to), the last wishes registry, the account register, your circle (inviting the people helping you and choosing what each can see), and a legacy contact. They are designed for people who are actively managing care over days and weeks.
Monthly or Journey Pass?
They include exactly the same things. The Monthly plan is billed each month and you can cancel any time. The Journey Pass is a single payment that covers 12 months and does not renew, so you are never charged automatically while grieving. We send a gentle reminder before it ends, and you can choose to start a new pass if you want to continue.
How do I cancel?
On the Monthly plan you can cancel any time from your account settings, and your access continues until the end of the billing period. The Journey Pass does not need cancelling: it simply ends on its date with no further charge.
What if the journey ends sooner than expected?
If the person you are caring for dies during your Journey Pass, contact us for a pro-rata refund of the unused portion. Your access continues until the pass would have ended either way, so there is nothing you need to rush.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is stored in Australia (Sydney region). Documents are encrypted at rest. We never sell your data, and we only share it with the providers who run the platform for us.
How do I pay, and where do my card details go?
By card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. When you choose a plan we hand you over to Stripe, a global payment provider, and you enter your details on Stripe's page rather than ours. Your card number never reaches 18December. With Apple Pay or Google Pay you do not type a number at all: your device sends a substitute in its place, and you approve it with your face, fingerprint or passcode.
What happens to my documents afterwards?
You can download your documents at any time. After a monthly cancellation your data is retained for 30 days before deletion. After a Journey Pass ends it is retained for 12 months, giving you time to return and giving family or your legacy contact time to act.
